What to expect
Join a hands-on traditional Korean bookbinding workshop in Insadong, led by an experienced calligrapher with over 19 years of teaching at institute affiliated with the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Since 2018, I have introduced Hangul and Korean culture to more than 6,000 international visitors through hands-on experiences in Insadong. Craft your own personalized notebook using classic Korean techniques, from folding papers to stitching the binding. Learn to write your name in Korean characters and create a decorative title for your cover. This meditative, creative activity is perfect for preserving travel memories, sketches, or keepsakes from your Seoul adventure. My work has received awards at the Seoul Women’s Craft Exhibition and the KT Corporate Competition. I published 2 books.
