Historische tour van een halve dag door het Gwanghwamun-plein in Seoul met een kleine groep

Dit was de tweede wandeltocht die we met June boekten tijdens deze reis, en opnieuw overtrof hij onze verwachtingen. Zijn achtergrond in de Koreaanse geschiedenis komt echt tot zijn recht. Hij deelde de perspectieven van Zuid-Korea, de relaties met andere landen en de culturele context die het dagelijks leven vormgeeft. June legde uit waarom Koreanen denken zoals ze denken, waarom bepaalde tradities en gedragingen bestaan, en hoe de cultuur zich blijft ontwikkelen met moderne veranderingen. Zijn diepgaande kennis maakte alles ongelooflijk gemakkelijk te begrijpen en zo interessant. Als je zinvolle inzichten wilt in de Koreaanse cultuur en geschiedenis, boek dan deze tour. Je leert zoveel in slechts twee uur - het is absoluut de moeite waard.

Joined the tour at the very last minute but very thankful that I was able to join June for this 120 min tour. His explanation was great and I had a enjoyable time learning about the historical facts.

The Gwanghwamun tour is highly recommended. Our guide June made the 2 hours of the walking tour go by in a flash. He is extremely well informed and was willing to clarify any doubts we had. We had a better understanding of the history of Seoul thanks to the tour and our guide

June was an amazing tour guide, the walk is also very easy, some hills but nothing crazy. The areas during the morning time were much less crowded :)

Well designed tour. I tried lots of the tour but I think this is very special. Guide is not just taking us around to take photos. He really has deep knowledges about Korea and willing to show us the real Korean world. Not just local spots, but also we went to buchon hanok village. I already visited there by myself, but the guide showed me the village in a whole different way.

June was a fantastic host for this tour. He taught us so much about Korean society and histories about Koreans.June is very knowledgeable and engaging and ensured we covered a wide range of locations and topics during the tour. This tour is a brilliant way to learn more about Korean people and we would recommend it for anyone. Definitely will try again on our next trip to Seoul.

I’ve joined many tours, but this one was different. Instead of just pointing out buildings, June explained how Korean people live, think, and adapt to change. I left with both great memories and new knowledge.
