The Ormund is off the street and we parked at an all day car park which was about 5 mins away. You can unload in front of The Ormund if you need to and there is some on road parking. We had a courtyard room with bistro table outside the door for us to use. The staff were all friendly and helpful and polite. They all worked very hard too. We booked a Superior I think ours was? Looking at some photos on the website not sure it was but it was very nice. The bed and bedding were a good quality pillows could have been a bit plumper but that is just me. Well equipped room with lots of sockets the tv was high quality . Tea making facilities and biscuits. Water would have been welcome om.notva tea or coffee drinker. The air con was very good and it was a warm night it was so good we did have to warm the room up.a little bit. The bathroom was very well equipped with a double shower never seen one of these before. All bathroom facilities were up to date in the bronze taps excetera. And we had complimentary toiletries too. We did use Bistro 23 in the evening and this again was highly furnished and modern the food we had was really good prices were just right and matched most restaurants today. Breakfast was buffet for cereals , toast and fruit. There was a good selection for hot food which had too. Again all staff very attentive. We would recommend and we too would stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Clean and modern. Great Barman and cleaners at this hotel and they moved us after the first night once we pointed out we were there for 4 nights and the room was a bit smaller than expected and the door/curtains were a bit broken so quite happy.

Great town and close to all amenities! Our room was next to the outdoor restaurant/ pub and we had the windows open due to the heatwave. The first night it was hard to get to sleep due to the chatter below and music. Breakfast is extra.

We spent 5 nights walking in the countryside. Breakfast and dinner were leisurely, and the menu had healthy offerings, in addition to traditional fare. The restaurant was never too crowded. Our room was not air-conditioned, and we were there during a heat wave. Luckily, it cooled off every night, and we could leave the very large windows wide open. It was quiet outside at night. There was a constant cool breeze, which made it very comfortable despite the heat of the day. The beds were very comfortable. The shower could use a renovation, but everything else was spotless and well kept. Most importantly, the employees were all so kind and helpful and truly went out of their way to make us feel at home.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ormond from the time we arrived until we left. The room was lovely, the staff were helpful and very friendly. We shall certainly miss the wonderful breakfast, and the vast choice to choose from. We had our first night meal at the hotel and it was excellent. The hotel is situated in Long Street with shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away. We shall definitely be returning.

Whilst the staff were lovely the hotel room was very tired. The breakfast was really good but the evening meal was average and clearly warmed up. I hadn’t realised either that there was no where on site to park.

This place is set in a very pretty street and had a lovely ambiance, leading through the entrace arch into a courtyard with doors to the bar and hotel leading off. We couldn't park anywhere to drop off our bags, but luckily the local car park was a very short walk away and free (as we parked at 6pm on Saturday overnight to Sunday). Check in was quick and simple and we were shown to our room by a pleasant and friendly member of staff. We found the window already open in the room (it was a very hot day) and a fan in the room which was great. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuite perfectly clean and adequate, if not luxurious. Despite being at the front of the property, even with the window open all night it was not noisy, so we had a great nights sleep. My big gripe was, that we couldn't get the shower to work correctly. On checking in I managed a trickle of lukewarm water, but in the morning we both suffered freezing cold showers, despite both spending quite a time adjusting, testing, waiting etc. I'm so glad I didn't need to wash my hair! In this day and age surely this is the most basic of requirements. We did not complain at the time, (but left a note on the empty reception on leaving). Who wants to summon someone when naked, cold and wet to sort it??? For the money we paid it was still good value, but the shower was a sore point, Would we stay again?, maybe in a different room.

We wanted to stay in the center of Tetbury and within the walking distance to all, and we found this perfect boutique hotel. It’s very clean and the bed was so comfortable. After a long day, you can have a nice drink at their bar or just an outdoor seating. We had dinner, and it was delicious. All their staffs were professional and friendly. As picky as I am, I was happy with this place.

This was our first stay at The Ormond but we plan to come back again. While a little bit worn around the edges this is more than made up for by the wonderfully warm welcome from staff and the super comfy bed. So convenient for everything in the town too.
