Great location and generally nice place to stay. It's a renovated old apartment, so some of the details seem a little bit hastily done (for example, rusty nails visible attaching modern mirror to wall in bathroom, real ceiling behind the facade ceiling has cobwebs and rust, etc.)

we stayed at libere laranjais on rua do almada for 7 nights. we stayed in the loft room. we loved the place, and we loved our time in porto. the room is a beautifully appointed apartment in a recently renovated historic building. the building is located on a very central street near the historic centre of porto. we found the location about perfect, with things to do in every direction from the front door, but not too much happening right outside the door. there is lively nightlife in the area, so nights were sometimes noisy. mostly it was manageable with the windows closed and the a/c unit humming. only one night did we actually need the earplugs provided by the hotel. trindade metro station is 5 mins walk, and the historic sao bento is about the same if you care to venture further out. but everything you’ll need is within 20 mins walk. it’s a pretty tourist-centric zone, tons of shops and restaurants, but plenty of local flavour too. the room was clean and the space was lovely. early check-in was a breeze (for about 17 euros). a door code is provided on check-in so you can come and go anytime. we saw housekeepers most mornings, a maintenance crew working on the roof one day, but no staff onsite most of the time. new towels, soap, sheets, etc. were available from the housekeepers. but you’ll have to make your own bed. there was a tourist fee which was paid on check-in (about 47 euros) but i believe that applies to many, if not all, hotels in porto.

Amazing and well renovated apartment in one of the best location in Porto. Everything is walking distance, you are surrounded by restaurants but still really quiet at night. The apartment is really really nice, spatious, fully functional, really comfortable rooms. And importantly, ac is working really well - one in each room. The owner are really responsive and helpful. We couldn’t ask for more.

Great location and the apartment was very spacious, probably one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Don’t forget to get the app as it makes everything a little easier to manage.

We enjoyed our stay as the room was great and the location perfect. Good points: Clean rooms , modern features quiet rooms and Great staff.( Diogo especially as his knowledge and passion for helping us was 5 star. Bad points: The shower leaking all over the bathroom floor every time we used it and they had no mop in the hotel which means we had soaking wet towels on the floor to stop us slipping which wasn't ideal but our only option. Would I stay her again? very much so we still loved the hotel and staff.

Don’t do it. This is not a hotel stay for a vacation - no staff on prem and mold in bathroom and the neighborhood is grimy - fine if you need a place for a few weeks and want an apt- but it’s NOT a hotel or for a vacation. We left one day early bc we really didn’t like it and I asked to refund second night and they did not agree to refund anything. Not recommended at all, beware.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff was responsive to any questions. The room was supplied with all we needed. The studio was larger than expected. The location was perfect because of its proximity to all of the sights we wanted to see. Another benefit was the number and variety of nearby restaurants very close to our room.
