This could be a really great hotel, but the building itself needs a lot of updating and I did not think the staff was very helpful to resolve my issues. I asked for an extra bottle of water one day and was told that I would have to buy it. Really? I also ended up paying for two full days even though I checked out at 8 PM. I had booked through Hotels.com and was told I could not change my reservation. Turned out that I could have. So a Hotel staffers’s mistake cost me a lot of money. The room was comfortable, but nothing special. The shower looked like it was definitely from another century. Mine did not drain properly. I also hated that the Hotel you still use a single used plastic shampoos and body lotions. For Nairobi, I guess this hotel is a pretty good deal. But I am not sure I would stay there again.

Highly recommended! The staff are truly exceptional — absolute professionals who handled every request and issue I had with efficiency, kindness, and genuine care. Special thanks to Bridget and Melvine at the reception for their outstanding support and warm hospitality. I would also like to thank Owen from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He did his very best to brighten my day when it wasn’t going particularly well, and his kindness truly lifted my spirits. I would also like to recognize the Housekeeping Supervisor, who handled an issue with my laundry in a highly professional manner. The situation was managed efficiently, thoughtfully, and with great attention to customer satisfaction — exactly the level of service one would expect from a five-star hotel. The food was simply outstanding. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. You are the real gems of the hospitality industry and a credit to Best Western Upper Hill. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

Everything was excellent. they could always increase inside restaurants and offer larger menu, but breakfast was great and it was a very enjoyable staff to work with

Excellent price point option for stays in Nairobi. The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. The rooms and showers are spacious. Rooms have a work space and guests can use other spaces throughout the property to work as well.
