Honest review.....Slightly above average over-all. Food is well below average and very overpriced. Staff, facilities, activities carry this resort. Good at hiding other flaws. No disclaimer when booking, about being "no cash allowed". Being a foreign traveler, wanting to take advantage of favorable exchange rates rather than having to charge overpriced food and activities ontop of paying a cc interest rate was highly disappointing. Resort could be good, but missing key elements.

Overall we had a great two night stay, but would have liked to have seen a bit more restaurant/food options and more comp hotel guest benefits (like free towels at the beach and pool, and free facility use for bowling, billards, etc.), especially since we paid a fairly high room rate for a hotel stay in the Philippines. Went on a Wednesday for one night and ended up booking a second night. Incredible swimming area. Breakfast was excellent and I overloaded on calories for a day of sitting in the sun, swimming, and spacing out. Plenty of space at the beach during the middle of the week; almost so much that it felt private. The music played by the restaurant was excellent. The sisig tacos at the beach restaurant is one of the best tacos I've ever had. The carne asada was grear as well. Fantastic place to relax. Room is in great shape, firm mattress, excellent AC. Wish the TV allowed Netflix and the bathroom sink should extend a little further over the basin. They do have a renovation team keeping the rooms up to date and the property is well taken care of. Great staff.
