The room was clean; bed was comfortable and the water hot for showers. Not much else. The hotel has limited check in and no general amenities such as in room coffee. It met our most basic needs for the say. The girl at the front desk was very friendly.

Check- in was an employee on the screen who informed me about a $50 deposit that was never mentioned when I booked through Expedia. Unexpected fees aside, the bigger issue was safety. Multiple outside entrances to the building were wide open. I reported it because anyone from the street could walk right into the hotel. The entire hotel smelled heavily like cigarette smoke, including the hallway near my non-smoking room. There’s also no elevator, so carrying luggage upstairs was inconvenient. The room itself looked worn down and poorly maintained. Water-damaged flooring, peeling cabinets and dirty towels. Honestly, I questioned why they were charging deposits with the condition the room was already in. I got in around 10 PM and was only staying overnight before heading back out the next day, so I tried to deal with it. But the next morning, before checkout time, someone started trying to open my room door. Thankfully I had the bar lock engaged. It end ended up being housekeeping even though checkout wasn’t until 11 AM. After already feeling uneasy about security, that was enough for me. When I checked out and explained my concerns, instead of addressing them seriously, I was first asked to leave a review and then offered a discount on a future stay as if I would ever return. So if you care about cleanliness, safety, or basic comfort, I’d recommend staying staying somewhere else.

First off the area this hotel is in is very sketchy. The craters in the parking lot could swallow a whole car! The rooms were OK not the cleanest! Bed had 2 tiny pillows had to ask for more they gladly gave them to us. The water backed up in the tub when showering and would not go down. It was an OK stay but never again! I don't know how this place got any good reviews at all

I booked this property as it was close to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and I was booking on short notice in advance of the Indy 500. It got the job done, but a premium property for the premium price I paid, it was not. Exteriors door locks were broken, amenities were not great, and the video kiosk check-in process was a bit clunky. The experience was smooth enough, and I wouldn’t have left a review at all had Studio 6 and Expedia both not sent me multiple requests each to do so.

Staff were good

Good staff. Squeaky building like the structure itself was crackling. Smoke scent. Very small towels! Solid value for the price!
