Very friendly staff. Someone is always on duty at the front desk. Safe and clean environment. Housekeeping made the bed daily despite their advertised policy they only come when requested. Air conditioned rooms. Cold water dispenser in lobby (still and sparkling water). Very conveniently located to public transportation (train, cable car, metro and bus). Room service is available from the restaurant in the adjacent building. Short distance from all that Lyon has to offer.

We arrived around 11 but they had a room ready so we were able to get in and freshen up. The staff were very helpful. The location next to the station is very convenient for train or plane travel.

The location is unbeatable, i had a late night car return and an early train to catch, the location of the hotel allowed me to waste no time getting settled in quickly. Their breakfast was ready by 5:30, so I was able to eat before get to the station, which was really nice

This is not a comfortable stay. Although the staff are nice, they couldn’t accommodate some basic issues. My rooms AC did not work. It was hot in my room. They said that’s how French air conditioning works. I have stayed in a lot of French hotels- maybe they thought I was gullible. The bed was fine but the pillows were very large and very firm. I asked for a less firm pillow but the one they supplied was the same. There are two major things for me personally that made it impossible to stay another night. Thankfully they gave me a refund. I don’t normally review but If you want a nice clean room, comfortable pillows and AC, Aparthotel in Lyon is much more comfortable at the same price.

Great location for an overnight near train station just make sure to go to the correct IBIS! This one is just across the street! Was nice and quiet. Breakfast was amazing!
