Given where it was, this wasn't a one-off sighting; it had clearly been living inside the tissue box, which means housekeeping and pest control had completely missed it.
I reported this to the manager on duty, who assured me it would be handled. I followed up afterward to check on the situation, but never received a single reply. No update, no acknowledgment — just silence.
For a hotel accommodating business travelers, this level of hygiene and lack of follow-through is unacceptable. I wouldn't stay here again, and I'd think twice before recommending it to colleagues.
