Had to book this as a last resort due to my other hotel canceling, just used it to sleep so it wasnt bad for that but overall its not the best. Good for the price and what its for. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Decent overall

Room was not ready despite checking in after 3PM. Had to wait two hours for my room to be cleaned. Room was dirty; strands of long hair (that were not mine) everywhere, and the underside of the toilet seat was still dirty.

Had a nice stay

There's no professionalism with this place, you can actual lose your life at this place. Some called looking for me and they literally give up confidential information about me to the person.

Worst experience ever wouldn’t ever recommend this place at all microwave outside water in the sink smells like **** the lady at the desk is too disrespectful and has a nasty attitude this will be my first and last time I just wanted a room in the area I wasn’t satisfied the window had duck tape holding the window up the internet was bad didn’t work at all the microwave doesn’t work and it’s outside this was the second room I didn’t like the blanket had a huge hole in it i couldn’t enjoy my sleep the walls was next to eachother and the people next door loud and could never be quite or get any sleep

The walls are really thin the people next door was talking all night until 9:00 am the door and has a big space at the bottom doesn’t close all the way the beds are thin and old the window was taped up can’t get any sleep here this my first and last time being here if you come here expect an uncomfortable stay if your going here for a peace of mind this isn’t the place to go at all and the internet doesn’t work at all so make sure you have your own internet the receptionist is rude I had the worst experience from hearing the traffic outside no microwave the blankets had a huge hole in the blanket the entire 3 days was the worst stay ever i highly wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anybody I don’t write reviews this is the second review I ever wrote about a motel ever.

I had a great experience here. The location was convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The rooms/facilities were clean and well maintained, and everything matched the description provided. A few tips for future travelers: arrive early if you want to enjoy all the goodie’s, and take time to explore the nearby attractions, as there are several worth visiting. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The staff wasn’t very attentive at all. I booked a room in advance and I’m sure the staff knew I was going to be there for two days in a row. The room they gave me didn’t have a closet or any place to hang any clothes up. The room was booked for two adults and there were only two very thin towels and one face towel in the bathroom when I got there. I booked a non-smoking room and the smoke detector had been removed from the ceiling. The microwave that was located outside of the room needed to be cleaned and it didn’t work well (took too long to heat up the food). The parking lot is very small but that’s typical for the Los Angeles area. The photos that Starlight Inn La Brea have posted on Hotels.com don’t look anything like the actual room that I stayed in. Me being from Las Vegas maybe I’m spoiled because I’m used better service and better accommodations. Me personally I will never book this motel ever again.

Had to change between three rooms. Staff was didn’t want to see if any of my issues were serious and by the time they did I was on my third room. Lost out on 122 dollars after switching to the third room because staff asked us to leave. 1st room… ac didn’t work 2nd room… ac worked but tv didn’t 3rd room… ac worked but couldn’t change the temperature and there wasn’t a remote for the tv.

Staff very nice and helpful! Parking was good. Big bed, no pain.
