Best stay and staff ever

Great views and sunsets.

While the overall stay was good, I cannot give a full 5 stars due to a few reasons. Firstly, the staff was very friendly, including the manager Sophia. The view from our honeymoon suite was beautiful and exactly like the pictures online. However, there were a few important issues that made the stay less enjoyable. • Cost of Taxi Transfers / Hidden Costs I highly recommend not booking airport transportation through the hotel. An Uber ended up being significantly cheaper than what we were charged for a simple 12-minute drive. It came to almost $70 CAD, which is unreasonable for such a short trip. On our way back to the airport after checkout, Grand View arranged another ride for us through an external company since we had an early flight. The driver arrived 10 minutes late and then demanded cash payment on the spot. Since it was our last day in Europe, we did not have enough cash left. He then made us walk to an ATM, where we had to pay an additional $20 in ATM fees on top of the already expensive ride. After bringing this concern to Grand View’s attention, I was simply told they were unaware cash was required and then wished a safe flight, which felt dismissive considering the situation. • Ants in the Room While the room itself was generally clean, we noticed a large number of ants beside the bed (photo attached). After informing management, the area was cleaned and sprayed, but the ants returned again the following morning. The room was cleaned a second time, and thank

Grand View hotel was absolutely incredible! The views from the jacuzzi suite are amazing. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Food was great and just a short walk to the Heart of Santorini! Would definitely stay here again!

Great shuttle, helpful staff and the worlds best pillow

I loved staying at Grand View Hotel for Three nights. It is a fentastic experience and mind blowing views, you can enjoy sunset daily from hotel pool area while lots of others travel to Oia or other top hills for sunset. Breakfast was amaging, staff was friendly and helpful. Room was big enough for 4 of us, 2A and 2C. A free parking available on site which is add-on. I will def''ly recommend this to friends and would love to stay again here.
