The accomodation was simple, no air conditioning but a fan was provided. The room was clean and comfortable, well insulated from outside noise so we had 3 quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was continental, cereals, fresh bread and croissants, which were very tasty. Close to both the Gare de L'Est and a metro station, Gare du Nord only 15 minutes walk. The owners were very helpful and the lift worked well (6 floors). A well managed hotel.

Terrible noise from outside.
Not sure the windows was double glazed.
We couldn't sleep and kids got very upset.

Did not try breakfast there. Some shopping and Cafes and Bakeries within walking distance. Very small rooms, bathroom and elevator. Not on the best side of town.

Very small room, top floor does not have elevator access. If someone next door is speaking on phone or having a conversation you will hear it at all times of day.

The hotel is quaint, clean, well located and very friendly. The breakfast is very good and good value for the area. The area itself is vibrant, fairy safe, and cosmopolitan. I loved my stay here and especially want to praise the receptionist Roxanna who was a delight to deal with - pleasant, courteous, helpful and always with a big smile; particularly warming after a very long and wearying flight!

This hotel is 100% fine. It is not roomy, there are no amenities to speak of. But it’s about a 20 min metro ride to everywhere in Paris. The Rue Faubourg Saint Denis behind the hotel is an amazing street with tons of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a couple blocks from Gare de l’Est and a block from the metro. The staff were nice and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.
