The carpet was not clean, the bedding was. A few of the bath towels and dish cloth given had human and animal hair in them, toilet screws were complete loose, the hallway wreaked daily although industrial strength freshener was used daily to mask the odor, the smell was sickening-had to hold my breath and walk briskly. Homeless people there constantly although they bothered no one it was a bit unsettling. The staff was great tho. Internet was horrible and was blocked by something in the building but got help and it lasted one day, next day it was terrible again. Being that pets are allowed there the smell is just bad daily. The trash room smelled disgusting daily. They need exhaust fans so that smells can get to the outside because opening the window is not effective enough. I stuffed paper bags under my door to keep out the hallway smells from other rooms. The bathtub had a very slow drain. The positives is the place was basically clean, the appliances were clean and the kitchen too, bathroom was cleaned, the TV worked well and staff was helpful and polite. The inside of the place did not match how nice the outside looks. But it was quiet. Would I stay there again…definitely not. Would not recommend unless someone had a let.

They did not have the room we reserved and charged us more for another room. Front desk was rude and not willing to cooperate. There were maintenance issues in the room as well

Do not stay here! Foul odor throughout the 2nd floor. Stairs, hallways, room, and grounds were completely filthy. Cockroaches inside and out. I found 1 big one in my bathroom, still alive! I was bitten by some unknown insect while sleeping. I would not have stayed here but I was in a time crunch for work and had already booked and paid online. They also tricked me into paying again once I arrived. I got the charge refunded but it took multiple calls/emails and about 1 week. None of the staff seem to know how to do their job and the evening staff is exceptionally useless. The manager is extremely rude, will talk over you and not listen at all. I literally had to tell her to be quiet and just listen please without talking. I don't enjoy talking to adults that way but I felt I had no choice. I really wish I would have just slept in my car that night not just because of the bug bites I still have up my leg but, also, knowing I paid money for that experience. Feels like I've been robbed twice by these people. Luckily, I got one charge refunded. Extended stay, never again....

The whole experience with Avondale North is horrible especially with management and working appliances. Just everything about that property is bad.

if i was allowed to leave no stars i would. this place is under staffed management was rude and youll be waiting in the lobby to check in for 15-30 minutes besides the rude managers it has a weird smell when you enter room was also smelly tub was dirty as well but it did make you feel like home but its very uncleanly. 2/10 hotel

Worse place I’ve stayed and it had roaches
