I chose this property for the air conditioning but be aware the rooms in the back of the hotel don't have AC, like many hotels in Basel or in Switzerland overall. The rooms facing the street have the sun on the windows which justifies the installation of AC.

The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. Incredibly convenient location to marketplace, the 50/30 bus combination, restaurants and shopping. The garden is beautiful, tranquil, and just a serene space.

Excellent location that is close to the train station. A beautiful garden to relax in and enjoy the complementary drink. Very happy with our stay. The only negative is the bathroom was a little small but other than that it was great.
