Room was very tired but staff was lovely and polite

We had a fabulous 7 night stay in a deluxe pool villa, we loved it , it was clean ,spacious & a very comfy bed. Having a private pool was so luxurious to be able to cool off whenever we felt hot & the sun loungers were a bonus to relax on. All of the staff are so friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was delicious & freshly cooked to order . Also the Spa massages were brilliant , the best we have had in Bali ever ! Highly recommend Sun Island & cant wait to stay again.

Was great staying here as it was central to everything - shopping, restaurants, clubs etc. Staff were always friendly and great talking too! They had great tips and advice about different places to go or services to use etc. Room was cleaned daily, breakfast was lovely and all you needed. Pool was a bit dirty at times but that was the only thing.

We had a memorable holiday at Sun Island. The hospitality throughout our stay was wonderful. The restaurant team provided attentive service every morning at breakfast, and the reception staff were always professional and welcoming.

This is our 2nd stay at Sun Island and it was just as we remembered so beautiful and quiet. The rooms are lovely and spacious and cool. The staff are so friendly and accommodating I would recommend Sun Island if your looking for a place that is in the middle of everything and is really quiet.

The property was tucked just behind the bustling main stretch of the stalls selling their items. It made for a quiet relaxing stay - we didnt hear any of the traffic. The range of massages offered by the villas was incredible and well worth it. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend stating - more variation in the breakfast menu would be good

Upon arrival the Villa did not have my booking and the staff were amazing at finding a solution. The villa was a good size and clean pool and linen was lovely. I have stayed in Villas a lot in Bali and have never had to ask for crockery and cutlery, no glasses, no plates, no knives or forks....2 coffee cups with saucer and teaspoon only. I had to ask for glasses and a bottle opener, the one glass I was given was promptly talen away the next day and no other items were supplied. A water dispenser is supplied, but no glasses to drink out of. I feel the staff are doing there best with the resources thay have. The most shocking thing was the urine stain marks on the stone tiles, the staff advised me the stone is hard to clean but I have never seen this in any Bali villa. The one restaurant meal I had was reheated pizza and what tasted like days old pork belly with packet sauce and packet mash.... I was going to book this Villa for my daughter but definitely will not now. The location, security, and villa size are the few good things about Sun Island Boutique Villas. I will definitely be going back to Villa Bugis or Jas Green Villas instead.
