I had an excellent stay at Hotel Royal. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location was convenient, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Royal to anyone looking for quality accommodations and great hospitality.

After looking in Vienna for specific dates and two other hotels booked with free cancellation, Hotels.com gave me a notice saying that a hotel I’d looked at was available for whatever price. I erroneously assumed it was for the dates I had already booked and for which I had been searching. It was my error to not triple check — and I discovered the dates change within minutes of booking at Hotel Royal without cancellation. I tried to get some help but the hotel would not budge. This seemed unfortunate and rather callous.

The staff was lovely. The location in the heart of the city was perfect. There is an amazing roof top restaurant with wonderful food. But air conditioning in the room was a joke. Plus the mattress was like a rock. I complained about the lack of air conditioning and the hotel insisted it was working. But hardly any air was coming out of the unit when presumedly on full blast. So I slept terribly for three nights because the room was so hot.

Single room clean & comfortable Shower had amazing water pressure 😊 Great location Downside rooftop was a restaurant so not somewhere just to sit and enjoy the views unless you were eating or at the bar No workout facilities but made up for that with walking

Nice hotel in a very central location. Staff friendly helpful and efficient. Minutes walk from St Stephens cathedral, State Opera and a stroll to the river barge terminals.
