The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The villa was beautiful and kept clean and up-to-date. Everything in the unit worked. The food was delicious albeit different from standard fair. The horseback riding tour was the best value for the money at the resort for things to do. The only thing I had trouble finding a chair that was comfortable the living room furniture was pretty, but very hard to sit on. While the food was delicious, the portion sizes for the prices were on the high side. The Seafood pasta did not come with any pasta and only a few pieces of seafood. A bottle of Heineken for $11 was the highest I have paid for one at any resort in Belize even on the Cayes.

Don’t give it another thought- book your stay at The Banks! I promise you won’t regret it! Beautiful property with no detail spared- Our family of four stayed at The Banks at the end of May for 3 nights and we wished we could have extended our stay. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom villa on the river, the rooms were beautiful and spacious, very clean and we loved the outdoor showers. We also had our own plunge pool that was definitely larger than your average plunge pool. Humo, the restaurant onsite was delicious and had several options to choose from. We also visited the Sleeping Giant for dinner one evening and had wonderful pizza at Donatos. At The Banks we enjoyed kayaking down the Sibun River, riding bikes, and hiking. We rented a car from the BZE airport which I would highly recommend- this made it easy and convenient to take days trips- we visited St. Herman’s cave and did their tubing tour, the Blue Hole national park (amazing), Armenia (a local village nearby, we ate lunch at Hibiscus), and drove to the Mayan ruins- Xunantunich. Special thanks to Gianni- our amazing bartender-he went above and beyond, Jessica the manager- she was so sweet and always asked about our day, and Jair one of our servers. 10 out of 10 recommend The Banks- you will love it!

The room and grounds were absolutely beautiful! The staff seemed new and timid when we tried asking questions or trying to order at the restaurant. At times we felt like they were avoiding us.

The accommodations, food, staff, grounds are all 5 star worthy! Love this place.

The property is very quiet and the staff is super helpful and nice. We felt the food was a bit overpriced for the portion sizes and the flavors were just okay. The drinks were amazing. The tour to the cave on property was fantastic! We did the horse back riding as well.

What a gorgeous gem in such a peaceful environment!! We were thrilled with our stay at The Banks. The staff was so warm and welcoming; excellent service! Everything was so beautiful! We loved our 3-bedroom villa....it was so large and clean. Lovely decor and having our own pool was wonderful! (Something to be award of.. one of the bedrooms has a separate outdoor entrance. It worked out okay for us since our kids are older, but this could be a problem for young families). The only negative in the villa was the furniture. The beds, pillows, couch and chairs were all very firm and uncomfortable. The ambiance at the onsite restaurant was lovely. We loved our breakfasts and desserts, but the dinner left us a little disappointed. I can tell they are trying very hard with their unique menu, but the items we tried just weren't as flavorful as we hoped. We ended up eating our other two dinners at Sleeping Giant which we really enjoyed. Overall I would highly recommend this gorgeous resort.

The most amazing staff and the concierge was next level. Never had such an amazing experience anywhere else. The property and our villa was absolutely stunning. We will definitely be coming back
