The rooms are strangely set up - small yet look big.
The beds were great and so were the provided toiletries etc. everything else was okay. No smart tv. It’s close to the Geisha area and upon walking 15-20 mins it’s the main city.

Under gjennomsnittet DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Our room reeked of sewage and mold. After having to sleep in the room the first night due to no hotel staff being onsite, they went and cleaned the room and got rid of the smell temporarily. Why was the room not cleaned before our check in? Also the room itself had tons of stains on the walls as well as insane amounts of dust. I actually got incredibly sick due to the hygiene practices at this hotel. Also there is no daily cleaning. The reception has incredibly weird hours. If you need help outside of the hours of 3pm-9pm good luck. They also don’t speak any language except Japanese, making communication incredibly difficult. This place gets 0/10 with its lack of cleanliness, amenities and overall experience. This is more so a crappy budget hostel experience.

Fantastisk Enjoyable stay! Would definitely recommend and so close to all the main sights. Very comfortable and spacious.
