Breakfast was delicious and fresh and the staff was friendly

Good location. It is about 5 mins walk to the subway stations. The hotel provides shuttle to the nearest mall. I like where the hotel is located, less crowded and feel slower paced of living. I did a nice walk alongside the harbor. There are restaurants within 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. The breakfast was included in my package. It was good selections. The hotel desk staff is nice and friendly. Definitely will stay again.

Recently stayed at the Dorsett, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations of a premium hotel experience. I received an upgraded room, but surprisingly, it did not include a bathtub—only a standard walk-in shower. For an "upgraded" accommodation, would be expecting a bit more luxury, so this was a bit let down. The most frustrating part of the stay was the state of the hallways. The corridors were consistently lined with piles of tied-up plastic bags filled with smelly rubbish left right outside guest doors. Doesn't know if it was a Chinese culture or management problem, it feels like living in a Motel experience.

It was very good, the only was i dont wat breakfast, i just wanted some fruit d For later and was told no, but i took some anyway as diabeyic and so is.my husband, but he had breakfast I cant eat until around 12.

The staff was friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I love that the menu changed daily so we were never bored.

The room was comfortable and clean. There were a sufficient number of towels and the shower products were nice. We did not have breakfast included in our reservation, but I highly recommend it. From fresh fruit and baked goods to more traditional Chinese dishes. Well worth the money. The shuttle to Kai Tak MTR station was also convenient, but pay attention to the schedule. There is a midday break we didn’t notice. The only negative for us was that there was little to do within walking distance of the hotel unless you are going to an event at Kai Tak Arena. We arrived around 7:30pm and walked about 45 minutes to an area with local restaurants that “closed at 10:00pm”. However, most were already closed or closing when we got there.

The hotel location it’s a bit away from the next MTR station. There is a shuttle which runs between the MTR station and the Hotel which start only at 10:00am and run until 19:00. Outside these times you need to walk or take a taxi to Kai Tai metro station. They put me in a disable room which was not nice, I had to ask for a room change next morning. Amenities in the room are very good, I loved the Elemis amenities in the bathroom (Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion). There is a glass water bottom in the room which can be used for free, they have water stations in each floor. The “Detox” drinks at the reception are quite nice. Breakfast was very good, many Chinese food options, but also intercontinental. There is an egg station but they only start it at 08:30am which is a bummer. On my last day the breakfast room was freezing!! Staff was not very helpful when I asked for some help in packing an item to send via post, id expect them to be more helpful as this is a 5 star hotel. The rooftop pool is super nice, but closes at 7pm. So I didn’t get the charge to try it. Just went up to have a look after 7pm, there was not even lights on. I believe this is because they don’t want pool guests to mix with bar guests as they are beside each other. The bar looked lovely for an evening drink and nice views from the rooftop.

Very good stay overall. Will be back again in the future.
