Great location. Room was decent, definitely around high 3 to low 4 star hotel. I’d stay here again primarily due to location, but doesn’t leave anything memorable

Our room was spacious and clean. Our best hotel throughout our Asia trip. Easy access to shopping and restaurants.

Pros: - The hotel is in a good location, stones throw from Dotonbori and short walk from train stations. - The open air onsen space is nice to have, along with coin laundry (although the coin laundry on site is more expensive than other hotels). - Rooms are clean and slightly bigger than what you'd expect for Japanese hotels Cons: - The sound deadening isn't sufficient; our room would be shaken everytime someone nearby opened or closed their door with a loud shudder, we could hear every elevator button ding and children running up and down the hallway yelling. - The buffet breakfast was in our opinion, of very poor quality. It was nice to be offered a western style range of options alongside Japanese breakfasts, however for some reason all the western food is served ice cold and stale? I don't understand the reasoning as all the asian food was served warm where appropriate, but all the western options like bacon and eggs, hashbrowns etc were so cold. The hashbrowns inparticular were so stale you could barely bite through them. Meatballs put out fridge cold. Hard to interpret if these dishes had been made eons ahead of time or if they were actually fresh, and many items just straight up unpleasant to eat as a result.

The location is absolutely amazing, close to all the stores, shopping. The only thing is I didn’t see the staff very helpful. Not paying as much attention to the guests. Overall was good

Great location, easy check in and out

If you are keen to explore the Namba area, this hotel is only a few minutes walk to the river. Love the self-service laundry facilities in the hotel. The onsen on the top floor is clean, modern and quiet. Great for a relaxing soak.

It was conveniently located near shopping areas, eateries, and sightseeing spots, all within walking distance to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. It also felt very safe. We highly recommend the onsite onsen at the Candeo Hotels Osaka Shinsaibashi.

Great hotel! Staff were extremely friendly, hotel was very clean and has an amazing onsen on the rooftop. Perfect location as well!
