Nice and clean rooms, staff was very professional and helpful. The Breakfast included was just coffee and yogurt. They advertise it as if its a full free breakfast included but it's not.

I spent a week in Oaxaca and Majagua ended up being much more than simply a place to sleep. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and genuinely interested in ensuring I have a comfortable stay and experience. What stood out most was how thoughtful everyone was. I was given a quiet ground-floor room with a beautiful patio, brought jugs of cold water and offered breakfast in my room. Small gestures that make a huge difference. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and full of character. The location is excellent, close enough to easily walk into the heart of Oaxaca while still feeling like a peaceful retreat after a long day. The team were always happy to help with recommendations, transport arrangements and local advice. They also work with an amazing tour company, which organised one of the highlights of my trip - visiting Santa Catarina Minas and meeting a traditional mezcal producer which I could not have arranged on my own. As a solo traveller, what I appreciated most was the warmth of the people working here. Everyone seemed genuinely proud of Oaxaca and were always eager to share their knowledge, experiences and recommendations with me. Oaxaca itself is a special place, but Majagua played a huge part in making this one of my most memorable trips ever. It's not just a hotel, it has the warmth of a stay with a small family. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a hospitable and authentic place to stay in Oaxaca.

Great boutique hotel located right near the city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was nice, bright, and clean.

Nice quiet hotel in oxaca. Well located to walk everywhere. Nice clean rooms . Breakfast was fine, very slow to serve. Could be improved to have a simple buffet so staff can focus on drinks for guests.

Right by El Llano park! Great place.

Charming, clean, wonderful staff, great location

Spotless room. Staff was helpful. Good location They should provide a water carafe full per guest. We were thirsty during the night.

Es un bonito hotel con habitaciones espaciosas, una cama bastante cómoda y personal muy amable. Lo único que representa un inconveniente es el desayuno, ya que es solo un pequeño desayuno continental, si quieres algo más completo hay muchas opciones cerca.

Very helpful staff, especially Carlos.

Great location, super nice staff and nice rooms.
