started with a video on peranakan history. it’s a demo class so you are seated while chef cooks. then there chef is very good at sharing the insider tips on how to treat the ingredients etc. be sure to bring a pen. about 8pax for my class a comfortable size. you get a goodie bag at the end as well of nyonya kueh and a mug

This is such a nice way of meeting people from around the world sharing the love for cooking. Very tasty dishes, learning focusses on the background and preparation of the recipes, not the mise en place. The ladies are real sweethearts and guarantee home cooking experience. I would love to come back should I visit Singapore again.

we went to celebrate my foodie, cooking-loving husband’s birthday and it turned out to be such a treat! the pizza making experience gave us an opportunity to change up the usual routine of the kitchen with new techniques in using a wood-fire oven ☺️ instructors, Gary and JP, were a joy to work with and made the entire thing so enjoyable together with the small group setting with fun individuals too!

This was my first trip to Singapore, and I had a pleasant stay at V Hotel Lavender.
Cleanliness: The room and hotel areas were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My cleanliness request was also taken into consideration.
Breakfast: Breakfast was not included, so I did not try it. The hotel informed me in advance that it is not Halal-certified and pork products are served, which helped me plan my meals.
Location and transport: The hotel is beside Lavender MRT, making it easy to travel around Singapore. Shops and food options are nearby, and the area felt safe at night.
Service: Special thanks to Ms Cecilia for her friendly and helpful service. She made my check-out smooth and gave me her card for assistance with future stays, including early check-in requests, subject to availability.
Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again.

Had an amazing experience at 81 Premier Star in Singapore! The location is very convenient, with easy access to public transport and plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained — perfect for a comfortable stay after a long day of exploring the city.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I especially appreciated the cleanliness and the cozy atmosphere, which made the stay very relaxing. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and comfort.
Overall, it’s a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay in Singapore. Would definitely recommend and consider staying here again!

• Easy access to Orchard, Marina Bay, and Changi Airport.

Rooms are clean but very small, which is common in Singapore budget hotels.
• Clean and modern design
• Comfortable bed
• Good air-conditioning
Good for short stays or travelers who mostly stay out exploring.
🏊 Facilities (⭐ 4/5)
Hotel Boss has more facilities than most hotels in its price range:
The pool area is surprisingly nice for a budget hotel.
💰 Value for Money (⭐ 4/5)
Singapore hotels are expensive, so Hotel Boss is considered good value.
For the location + facilities, it’s a solid budget choice.

En av tingene jeg elsker med oppholdet mitt på dette hotellet er beliggenheten, veldig praktisk. Nær Bugis Junction og MRT, kanskje rundt 4-5 minutters gange. Det ligger rett ved siden av 7-Eleven, så ingen bekymringer for mat på farten. Jeg angrer ikke på at jeg valgte Ibis budget hotel for mitt 4-netters opphold i Singapore. Rommet er veldig rent, selv om det har akkurat nok plass til to personer, men alt i alt var det et flott opphold! Vil anbefale dette til mine venner og familie for fremtidige reiser.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained with a comfortable bed and complete amenities. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful view, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
