the shop is close to the bus stop you get off at in shuishide. The owner forgot to give us the boat tickets when we rented the bike so we were a little confused as to how we'd redeem the boat cruise. But after going back we were able to resolve it. we used the bikes to pedal to wenwu temple then returned the bikes and caught our cruise to the different areas

Very easy to redeem. Sun moon lake is very beautiful place, i had fun biking along the lake, the staff also guide me where the start of the biking lane and also provided a map. It was really a great experience. ❤️🇹🇼

Recommended if you are planning to cycle around Sun Moon Lake. Very affordable and the staffs are nice and friendly. As it’s a manual bike it can be difficult to cycle through certain terrains but definitely worth a go to take in the scenery!

This shop was easy to find for me as it was very near to the place I was staying near the Shuishe Pier. I originally wanted to upgrade to an e-bike (just because I was feeling lazy) but the shop keeper discouraged me. She explained to me the most common biking route anti-clockwise around the lake and where to turn back. Although I did keep on getting overtaken by e-bikes along the way I managed to power my way through a pleasant afternoon.

環日月潭一圈，有些路段參考店家說的路段，陡坡不要勉強騎，最好牽著走，慢慢來，安全最重要。 順時針走，走到非環湖自行車道外的路段，騎乘自行車比較危險。有些路段最好牽車走、騎乘有難度。 捷安特腳踏車是可以的。

店家在台灣好行下車附近，走路馬上到，腳踏車好騎，有七段變速，可以調自己適合的速度，因為體力不佳，欲爬坡我都是用牽的，腳他車不重好牽。

Easy to locate the bike shop (just Google map the address) and did not need to leave my ID (they just needed to take a photo of my passport). Comes with a lock for the bike and the staff will recommend the bike route 👍🏻👍🏻 As for the boat ticket, I think you can only take one round (i.e., once to each pier) but that’s sufficient. Recommend cycling first if the weather’s good because there’s fewer people then sitting the boat
