Tour provided a jeep for travel - 4 people in the cargo area (a little squishy so yall might bump knees especially if you are tall!), 3 in the rear seats and 1 in the front passenger seat. Try to reach earlier to get better seats! Mossy Forest is restricted to tours only and there’s a locked gate that’s accessible to tour guides only. Selan was an amazing guide - thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable. He provided many interesting facts (about different edible plants and tea origins) and made us very comfortable throughout the tour. As mentioned in the description, do take note that the entrance fee to mossy forest is 30 ringgit per adult so do bring cash! Highly recommended overall, and would recommend with this tour group (Cameron RS Venture Travels and Tours)!! Look out for Selan!!
Opplevelsen var godt organisert, hyggelig og informativ hele veien. Turlederen vår, herr Safuan, var ekstremt vennlig, kunnskapsrik og veldig snill. Han delte mye interessant informasjon og fikk alle til å føle seg komfortable og velkomne. Vi satte stor pris på hans varme og profesjonalitet. Anbefales på det sterkeste.
Die Tour hat uns super gefallen und unser Tourguide Ahmad hat viele tolle Informationen zu den Teeplantagen, der Erdbeerfarm und dem Mossy Forest geteilt. Die Erdbeerfarm hätten wir persönlich nicht gebraucht, hat dem Ganzen aber auch keinen Abbruch getan. Überall war genug Zeit zum erkunden. Alles in Allem eine total gelungene und super organisierte Tour!
Très chouette activité! Notre guide, Safuan, était vraiment très chouette et nous a donné de bonnes explications. Rien que le transport en « jeep » ouverte à l’arrière était une expérience. Très bon conducteurs qui a de l’expérience dans ces petites routes bien pentues… Je recommande!
Our recent half-day tour to Cameron Highlands and the Mossy Forest was an absolutely wonderful experience, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Ahmed! He truly went above and beyond, not only guiding us through the beautiful sights but also enriching our journey with fascinating insights into the history of both the forest and the tea plantations. His passion and knowledge made the tour so much more engaging and memorable. Highly recommended!
Great half-day tour from Klook! Our guide, Mr Bob was very nice, picked us up from our hotel on time, and planned the tour very nicly to avoid crowds, and it was a school holiday! We visited the strawberry farm first, then Boh plantation, and ended yhe tour in the amazing Mossy Forest, a must visit in Cameron Highlands.
Ahmad was a great guide, knowledgeable and cautious about our visit’s impacts on the environment. You can tell he is not just on a job but actually really passionate about his role. Strongly recommend.
Beautiful scenery at the BOH tea plantation and had a great time exploring the mossy forest (be prepared for muddy shoes 😆) - forest permit is required and the administrative process was smooth (arranged by tour guide, just need to provide the passport details and additional RM10 fee). Our tour guide Ahmad is very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting stories/fun-facts at each destination and also ensured our safety during the entire journey 👍😁 There is a visitor's centre at BOH where we went to the tea factory and tried the cham ice cream, it's good!🍨 We also stopped by a strawberry farm for lunch and tried their signature strawberry milkshake 😋 Overall a fun and smooth experience 😊

wow, this was an amazing trip and if you have doubts about it, don't worry but GO! Our guide was amazing, so much knowledge about tea and the mossy forest, we have really learned a lot from him. very polite and checking if you are ok and what you want to do. stopping for pictures when you ask. careful driver, felt very safe. - Ta med en lett jakke eller regnjakke. Høylandet kan bli kjølig eller regnfullt uten forvarsel.
- Bruk gummi- eller tursko med godt grep. Stien kan være glatt og gjørmete etter regn.
- Ta med en liten flaske vann og lette snacks for energi under turen.
- Ikke forvent utsikt over teplantasjen fra toppen. Nyt heller den rolige skogutsikten.
- Ta med kameraet eller telefonen. Teplantasjen og de mosegrodde trærne er flotte fotosteder.
