Sekumpul-fossen og Himmelporten privat tur på Bali med lunsj

I’m a solo traveler and my driver Gus Alit and my guide Adi did an amazing job. smooth driver and on time pickup. Adi (Local Guide) is the best. he took good photos for me and video and chose the right angle in everything he make sure that all photos will be worthy. He didn’t rush me and showed everything in the place. He also brought me to the famous hanging restaurant which is not part of my itinerary, i just paid a little amount to go there. the hanging restaurant is a must see if you are in sekumpul. i will recommend them to everyone!!!

Været var ikke bra på dagen for turen vår, men til tross for det, nøt vi likevel opplevelsen. Det var en ganske lang kjøretur fra Ubud, omtrent 3 timer. Det regnet da vi ankom parkeringsplassen og stoppet ikke under hele turen. Det kan være frustrerende for noen besøkende, men vi nøt det likevel og gjorde turen vår uforglemmelig. Vi nådde først Fiji-fossen og deretter Sekumpul-fossen. På grunn av det dårlige været var strømmen ganske sterk, så vi fikk ikke mulighet til å bli lenge og svømme. Men begge fossene var vakre og betagende. Vi vil gjerne komme tilbake igjen, og forhåpentligvis i bedre vær. Det var klippehopping, men vi hoppet over det fordi strømmen var sterk. Imidlertid prøvde vi vannsklien, som vi likte veldig godt. Takk til Dodi, vår avslappede og morsomme turguide. Langs veien ligger også de vakre Fiji-risterrassene. Etter turen ble vi servert en enkel, men deilig lunsj tilberedt av en lokal familie som bor i området. Etter fossene dro vi til Wiwanda Agro for ubegrenset jordbærplukking. I tillegg serverte de oss fersk jordbærjuice. Vi hoppet over Handara Gate fordi vi var så slitne. I stedet dro vi til en lokal warung for middag, som ble anbefalt av vår vennlige sjåfør Jhony. Vi hadde også noen korte stopp underveis. Nord-Bali er virkelig et veldig vakkert sted. Absolutt et must å se og besøke når du reiser til Bali.

The main part of the trip is the waterfall tour and it does not disappoint, it’s also nice to try both the natural slide (although safety gear is a must with those rapids and rocks) and jumping into the pool. The waterfalls (Fiji and Sekumpul) are spectacular. The choice of lunch was good and the restaurant owners were very kind. The strawberry farm is a quaint experience, and a nice little extra. The Gate of Heaven allows for some spectacular photos, but you have to wait a while after being given a number in the queue. My waterfall guide Gudi and my driver Jhony were both absolutely fantastic.

This is the best tour we had so far. We enjoyed it a lot. The local driver Kadek took us to Sekumpul drop off site. Dodi who was our local guide took us to Sekumpul Waterfalls. He took great photos for us too! The falls are amazing and the water is so cold and refreshing. We did the water slide as well and it was such an experience. Thanks a lot for a memorable tour.

Thank you Agung for a wonderful and well curated/tailored tour of the Sekumpul and Fiji waterfall area. Out of all the options available to view the Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, I feel extremely lucky that I ended up on a tour that was planned with authenticity and social responsibility in mind. My private tour for 2 was led by Bayu, a friendly and attentive village local, who guided us through the neighbouring paddy fields/plantations as well as the waterfalls. Instead of getting the standard package tour, I got a unique off-the-beaten track view of the surrounding area and a small insight into the way life of local villagers, which made the experience that little bit more real for me. I was also able to experience the non-obligatory water slide and cliff jump. The tour ended with a home cooked meal before a motor bike ride back up the meandering hillsides to the pick up point, which was especially fun! Eddy & Dody were amazing hosts. Eddy picked us up promptly and went through the itinerary for the day. We started with the strawberry farm where we had fresh strawberries and juice then went to the waterfall where we met Dody. He then went through the plans with us and looked after us. The waterfall was amazing and so was the private lunch. There is also a rice terrace there. We then made our to the temple. The whole day was fantastic, I would recommend this tour if you want a scenic day.

We had an absolutely amazing time visiting Sekumpul Waterfall and going strawberry picking! 🍓💦 The whole experience was made even more special by our incredible guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had the best time from start to finish. Sekumpul Waterfall was breathtakingly beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The strawberry picking was such a fun and unique experience too! Our guide was fantastic — so helpful, patient, and full of great local knowledge. They made us feel comfortable throughout the day and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable.

Exhausting but Enthralling trip to the lovely north west of Bali. While it was a long journey from Ubud, where we stayed, it was really worth it. The trip was supposed to have 4 hours of waterfall and trek time in total, but the views were so mesmerising and relaxing at the same time, we ended up spending close to 6 hours. Our driver, Kadek, was kind enough to wait for us for a longer time and ensured we enjoyed it throughout. Special mention to our guide, Dodik. He knew all the best spots and took some really wonderful pictures. He did not hurry us for time (which made it 6 hours, lol) and had information about everything going around. He even served us with Salak (snake fruit) from one of the trees. The add-on activities of the Water Slide (we kept doing this multiple times and there was no restriction on how any times you do it) and Waterfall jump were awesome. All this followed by a simple lunch, which was again made special by Dodik. He added Banana fritters and young coconut water for us, making it a well rounded trip. For first time trekkers - This trip has a lot of climbing down and climbing up, at times on very steep stairs and you need to go through the pain to see all the beauty of nature and enjoy this kickass excursion. This was sandwiched for us by pictures at Handara gate and Strawberry farm, which were decent. The waterfalls overpowered everything for the day. Tip - Take a dip in the waterfall. Don't miss it. It's worth all the climbing.
