Paul took great care of us – providing warm drinks, snacks. He helped everyone with taking professional pictures with his camera (I got some amazing shots on my phone as well!), and his enthusiasm kept spirits high all night. If you’re heading out to hunt the aurora, book a tour with Paul – he’s dedicated, knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to make sure you see the lights. Highly recommend! 10/10 would do again.

폴은 내 인생 최고의 가이드였다. 숙소 바로 앞으로 픽업을 와준 덕분에 아주 편한 이동을 할 수 있었다. 구름이 많이 끼고 태양 활동이 강하지 않은 날이었음에도, 폴은 포기하지 않고 스웨덴 국경을 넘어 최고의 스팟을 찾아주었다. 오로라가 선명하게 보이는 날이 아니었음에도 폴은 멋진 사진을 많이 남겨주었다. 행복한 허니문 사진도 남길 수 있어서 아주 만족했다! 그리고 완전 맑은 하늘을 찾아가서 달도 밝고 별도 엄청 많이 보여서 정말 황홀한 밤이었다~ 그리고 무엇보다도 친절하면서도 열정적인 가이드 덕분에 오로라 헌팅 하길 너무 잘했다는 생각이 들었다. 우리끼리 막연히 오로라가 보이길 기다렸다면 힘들었을텐데, 투어 덕분에 핀란드 와서 오로라도 볼 수 있었고 즐거운 시간 보냈다. 정말 만족스러운 투어였다. 감사합니다.

we had a private tour with Paul and he took us to two places to capture the northern lights. very friendly person. The night was rather cloudy, but he managed to capture some nice photos for us!

We joined the aurora hunting tour last night. At first, it seemed impossible to see anything because it was cloudy and foggy all night—I honestly gave up hope. But Paul was so dedicated and never gave up. He drove for a long time, seriously searching for clear skies, and even took us all the way to Sweden! In the end, we really got to see the northern lights. I’m so thankful to him. If you’re planning to go aurora hunting, you must book with this guide!

A must do while in Lapland! Having traveled a long way to Finland, it certainly is a priority for us to see the northern lights. While we booked a hotel at a slightly more remote location to avoid the light polution in the city, we were really grateful that we decided to go on this private aurora hunting tour with Paul. I doubt I'll be able to see the northern lights had I not gone on his tour. He was very knowledgable (and apparently VERY well educated) and seemed very sincere in making sure we had a good experience. He was very friendly and communicative as well, both through email and whatsapp too. After he helped us in taking plenty of pictures, as we were driving back to the hotel, Paul suddenly slowed down because there was another wave of aurora. He found a place to park, and asked us to take more pictures. After that, he almost stopped again but unfortunately the light was too weak. It seems that he might actually be more eager to find the northern lights than us!

We had a great experience with this Northern Lights private tour. The guide was very kind, friendly, and generous he even offered us free drinks and chocolate, which was a nice touch. Although the solar activity was low that night, he didn’t give up and put in a lot of effort to find the best possible viewing spots. You could really feel his dedication and passion for giving us the best experience. Highly recommended!

This tour was absolutely amazing and became the best memory of my entire trip to Finland. Everything was very well organized, from transportation to timing breaks, so even in the extreme cold we were able to enjoy the experience comfortably.
