This tour is really nice and I recommend you book it. Our tour guide Sir Cedhie is very informative and very nice. He is very good in communicating about the tour and also shaeing all the history facts about Philippines. Also he answered all the questions asked by the tour participants. Hadde en fantastisk tid på Intramuros nattvandring! Guiden vår var fantastisk – veldig kunnskapsrik, vennlig og lidenskapelig opptatt av filippinsk historie. Turen var informativ, hadde et perfekt tempo og føltes aldri stressende. Å gå gjennom de gamle murene, historiske kirkene og koloniale gatene under nattelysene gjorde at alt føltes magisk. This was a really great experience. It beats DIY because the amount of historical facts you can learn from the tour guide (Steven) was mindblowing. He also takes good pictures. The night tour is also very effective when discussing the dark history behind Intramuros. Will definitely suggest this to my friends and family.
If you want THE legit Intramuros Walking tour who is fluent in both English and Filipino, this is it! Kuya Russell is top notch, super friendly, very knowledgable in history, and quite funny! I had the tour rescheduled because the guide had a problem on the day I had originally booked, but that didn't matter at all! I would give 6 stars if I could! My guide, Jonathan, was so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Intramuros and the Philippines. His personality and humour made his perfect guiding even better. Thanks to him, I learned so much more about the history and culture of the Philippines. The place itself is interesting and fascinating, with a lot of colonial architecture, and I'm sure the city of Manila will find a way to improve the general tidiness of the area in the future.
This tour was such a great way to see old Manila and learn about the history of the Philippines people. The night setting works particularly well for Intramuros and also creates a far more relaxed environment as Manila is cooler at night and so many people are still out and about so the city is still so alive and vibrant. Also, the tour guide was beyond fantastic! He was so passionate and engaging and brought such a great sense of humor to the night. The combination of the fascinating settings and the terrific guide made it a fun and interesting night out. It is a walking tour but the pace is relaxed so it would suite almost all ages and fitness levels. I highly recommend it.
This trip is truly recommend to people who wana know more about the history of Philippines. Our tour guide Russell is superb. He really friendly and because of rainy day most of the participants reschedule their trip and he still guided us for 2 persons. He was wonderful and a splendid tour guided. I'm very happy with this trip. Last but not least the dinner was awesome and delicious.
