Vi kjenner maten vår og nabolaget vårt Vi er Jay og Sam, begge matfanatikere, og vi jobber i mat- og drikkebransjen. Vi avslutter aldri en dag uten å snakke om mat.
Vi er her for å dele det vi kan best: de førsteklasses godbitene vi har oppdaget gjennom mange år med å bo i området.
Fra billig mat til fancy festmåltider Vi er store fans av Mangwon-markedet fordi de fleste av selgerne er andre generasjon, noe som betyr at de virkelig har forbedret seg.
Markeder handler ikke lenger bare om billig gatemat. Det finnes Koreas mest ettertraktede delikatesse, Hanwoo-biff. Mangwon-markedet har den beste tofuen jeg kjenner. Du må prøve dem alle!

Great food tour from a local in the area with carefully curated foods to try in a location off the beaten track. Jay was great and professional and would recommend her again to friends and family visiting Seoul!

I had a great time with Jay! We tried lots of things at the market, many I would have walked straight passed, which would have been a shame since they were delicious! She was friendly and kind, sharing the history and culture behind food and even brought along the summer melon that was in season, already peeled and cut for us to try. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to try new Korean food and learn more about Korean culture- going to a market with a group is great because you can try more things. She's very accommodating and was always checking if we were comfortable and giving different options for foods if you didn't want to eat raw or spicy things.
Jay was our guide. she was is very nice and friendly. She whatsapp us a couple of days prior. On that day itself there was only 5 participants which was nice. Jay explained everything very clearly and all the food stalls that she brought us are indeed yummy! highly recommended
Amazing experience with a wonderful guide - Jay! She explained things so well, added good historical info about the food, the market and overall was very friendly and engaging. Each spot we went to was delicious and it was an evening well spent.

excellent knowledgeable guide. fun tour. it could contain a few more dishes, to get a good spread for the foreign travelers a taste for korean cuisine.
It was a good tour, Jay showed us the must-eats at the market – we would not have known where to start if we had gone bg ourselves.
