I highly recommend the Taiwan Pass for tourists. I really enjoyed the package—it included a 3-day unlimited HSR pass plus 2-day bus and MRT passes (Unlimited) + Scenic Shuttle, which made traveling around Taiwan easy and hassle-free. The best! I missed this during my first travel in taiwan and made sure to experience it this time. Very easy to use even for a solo traveller. Easily recognized by all the THSR Staff and they will help you how to use. Thanks to this I was able to visit from Taipei to Taichung, Chiayi, Alishan, Tainan, and Kaoshiung. Also, availed the Alishan round trip bus and Kaoshiung MRT LRT. Instructions in the app is clear and easy to follow. Will definitely book again on my next visit hopefully.
This is recommended guys! You only need to redeem the bus shuttle ticket and reserve the time on the app itself, for the THSR, you need to go to one of the stations and tell them the dates when will your 3-days start and end. We also got to use the MRT one, this is very recommended since for us we realized that Taiwan is perfect to travel to different cities each day, Kaohsiung to Taipei!
Fantastic deal for HSR and Taoyuan airport MRT combo. I was travelling to Kaohsiung from Taipei, and with this pass I stopped for half a day in Tainan to savour the food. The only con is the Tainan HSR station is at TRA Shalun station. Therefore need to take a train to the Tainan TRA station.
I must say that is the most “Sulit” klook purchase for Taiwan I must say! I was able to DIY our trip to Alishan and Sun Moon Lake because of this deal. It also had an add on of Round trip to airport and bust trips to other scenic places. :) I hope this will be available for my next Taiwan trips 🫰🫰🫰🫰 price:2-3k per person (HSR 1 way ticket - 1k plus seat reservation process:this may be tedious but you just have to install the Taiwan Pass app and follow the instructions on the klook app. Promise this will be worth it 👌 redemption guide:Very easy just visit the HSR train station and redeem at the counter. For change of schedule, you can always approach a staff, they are very accommodating. 🫶. Always bring your passport when using this :)
this is way too sulit. Got this B1G1 attraction pass and shared with a friend. Availed all offers in the pass. Some offers are easy to use and redeem. The tourist shuttle was quite a challenge to redeem but managed to use it anyway. make sure to install Taiwan Pass and register your pass first.
Literally the best purchase we had. Instructions can be a bit challenging but to make life easier, we went directly to the HSR ticketing booth and they did everything for us. Saved us a lot of money, too, as we always end up earlier than the scheduled trip so all we did was schedule another trip and we were good to go (as you can see below). We also availed the Alishan shuttle bus — pls take note that if you plan to avail this (or maybe any other shuttle tour bus), book it at least a day before your trip before 12 noon. For the 2 day unli metro pass, it was also easy to redeem just go to any of the redemption site and have your qr scan and dooone.
I purchased 2 of these during the 50% off and it's really worth the price. There was some confusion when I redeemed it but the staff HSR staff were helpful. We wern't able to use the tourist shuttle bus but maximized the HSR. Unfortunately the Taiwan Pass app was not that user-friendly and we can't reserve. It is easier to reserve at the counter.
Buying the Taiwan Pass was the best decision we made. It was convenient and affordable since it covered all the transportation to our destinations. I hope that when I visit Taiwan with my family, the Taiwan Pass is still available.
