We had a wonderful stay at Hitgeheim Country Lodge. The road in is a little rough, but as it is an eco reserve, that is to be expected and part of the experience. The reward is the wildlife along the way, and we were lucky enough to encounter some zebras. We chose a room with a private pool, which was absolutely beautiful and made our stay feel extra special. We loved the port provided and enjoyed a delicious Taste of South Africa dinner in the restaurant. A lovely final touch was having our car washed on departure.

Staff, room. safari and food were great. Fantastic ambiance about the place. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay we had. The service, the room, the view, everything is wow. I love the garden, it is so good. The Service, I think, is the best one I've experienced so far. The staff even washed my car when I parked there. WOW Thank you very much, Hitgeheim Country Lodge. I will be back.

Très bel hôtel avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée avec des orangers. Les chambres sont hyper spacieuses et cerise sur le gâteau, j ai retrouvé la voiture lavée le lendemain sans avoir rien demandé. Petit déjeuner excellent et personnel très attentionné y compris Archie le patron qui donne de bons conseils

Sehr gut geführte Lodge mit ausgezeichnet und freundlichem Personal. Sehr gute Küche mit gutem lokalen Weinkeller.

Beautiful views and staff very accommodateing! Had a wonderful experience at addo elephant park despite early morning rain! Would definitely tecommend you check them out!. Do pay attention to driving directions they send you. We did not and went on a rough road we did not meed to. Google sucks sometimes!

A great place if you want to be 'off grid' for a bit. Lovely location and accommodation with great wide views. All the staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meals were faultless. We are happy to recommend and hope to return again one day. We would suggest of if you are want to do a trip into Addo Elephant Park with the lodge, that you book in advance. However, we went on the trip with Schotia Game reserve which was very good, which the lodge can organise for you.

The staff here are on a par with global industry leaders. The service is considerate and attentive without harrassment. They are knowledgable, friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic and allows the experience of the culture. Accomodation was superb, views for miles. Cannot rate highly enough (I work in this industry so have experienced many top hotels, this is right up there but also offers excellent value for money)

The staff is friendly and helpful. The house we stayed in was spaces, beautiful and provided everything you need. You feel like a king in a castle. Breakfast and dinner
