What a con. This property is nothing like the photos or the description advertised.
We booked two "no-window" rooms to save some money, only to discover that when we opened the curtains, we were looking directly into the elevator area where guests constantly walked past. Privacy was non-existent, and the noise levels were unacceptable.
The rooms were rundown, poorly maintained, and well below average. The television didn't even work. I would describe the overall condition of the property as scungy. I cannot believe this hotel is advertised as a four-star property—it is closer to a one-and-a-half-star establishment on a good day.
There also appeared to be no effective smoking policy. One of the neighbouring rooms smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. When I raised the issue with reception, the staff seemed indifferent and unwilling to help.
The whole place felt more like a converted boarding house or apartment block than a hotel. To make matters worse, the breakfast was poor quality and certainly not worth the extra cost.
Overall, this was very poor value for money, and I would not recommend staying here.
