Property is being renovated, mostly the office and grounds. It clean and safe. Also small, maybe a dozen rooms. Parking is next to the rooms but not sufficient for a full house.

Hi all ! I’ll start by saying we learned this property was just taken over by new owners 2 months ago. We had a very small room w a queen bed and a twin. The wall air conditioner unit was right next to the bed so it was impossible to sleep as the air was against u alll night - air needed to be on. As got stuffy real fast . There was a refrigerator which thankfully worked great. There was a hole in the wall behind the refrigerator. There were 2 outlets in the room so thankfully I brought an extension cord as the hotel had none. We moved the bed to get to the outlet and the keg from the bed frame fell off as it was not screwed to the bed. They had a construction guy on site who came with tools and fixed the bed. There was a small dresser - I opened the top drawer and it was broken in pieces. The bottom drawers worked but the dresser was filled with dirt and a mess. The toilet was not bolted to the ground so it wobbled ever time we went to the bathroom. Hardly any water pressure and the bars of some were like small as for a Barbie doll I I used 3 each day in hands to gets suds. They have a lot of work to do No ice machine . No staff on site after 10pm. Not enough parking on site for all guests - use street at night Area is centrally located to freeways , but nothing around and I would not walk around at night - drive to everything The staff was sweet beyond belief ! But only so much they could do . I wish them best in renovations

This motel did not meet my expectations based on the positive reviews I had read. It is a very basic, no-frills property. While the room was reasonably clean, the walls were extremely thin—I even noticed a sign in the room asking guests to keep noise down after 9 p.m. because sound carries so easily between rooms. The location was also less appealing than I anticipated, as the motel is situated in an alley-like area that felt somewhat uninviting. Overall, the stay was adequate, but it wasn’t a place I would choose to stay at again.

Cozy room with fridge and microwave. Ten minute walk to famous Mel’s Diner (Opened December 23, 1947). Mattresses was comfortable but noisy when you got up. Parking spaces were near the rooms.

Clean rooms. Good area!

This place was totally quiet and has a lovely outdoor garden sitting area. The staff is very nice. I would definitely stay there again!

Very expensively ve room for Memorial Day weekend. Very basic motel. It was ok. Clean.

Staff is great , rooms are clean and the location is incredible!

Good place with on site free parking. Reasonable and convenient to the pier
