The outside of the hotel is having a major overhaul / revamp so is not at its best. Reception is stylish but once you are beyond that the hotel could do with a good dollop of TLC. A lick of paint on the walls, repairing chips on doors and other woodwork plus new carpets could transform this hotel. A good, well sized bathroom. A very large comfortable bed gave me a good nights sleep. I did have earplugs which were needed as the toilet system seemed to have life of its own. I'm not sure what was going on with it but it seemed to partially flush every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the night.

I recently stayed at the Marivaux Hotel and initially had a very positive experience. The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. However, on my final night, I experienced a serious issue that I feel future guests should be aware of—I was bitten multiple times overnight and strongly suspect bed bugs. The bites were extensive and appeared suddenly after that night, which made the situation quite concerning. This was extremely uncomfortable and unfortunately overshadowed what had otherwise been a pleasant stay. I did not notice any issues earlier in my visit, but this highlights how important it is for hotels to maintain thorough and regular checks of their rooms. I want to stress that the staff were kind and the hotel has many positives, but I believe it’s important to raise this issue so it can be addressed promptly and so other guests can take appropriate precautions. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and

The shower door was totally unsealed, so there was a lake of water on the bathroom floor after showering. There was also no control position that would provide a temperature warmer than room temp. Burned-out and absent lights in the bathroom and bedroom made the suite very dark.

Room was fine, but the breakfast was amazing!!!

Lovely hotel in the centre

Spacious for one person, modern bathroom, comfortable bed and soft pillows.

The room was spacious, deluxe option, the upkeep could be improved. The carpet was very stained, the toilet was loose and a constant drip in the bathroom. We chose because of the room size and king bed option
