We rarely write reviews but feel compelled to share what we feel may have been the best accommodation in our entire lives (we’ve travelled to many, many countries). The staff at Wapa Di Ume are genuine, thoughtful, respectful, and kind to the core. One of us in the hospitality industry; if there were a place to train those for a delightful future in hospitality, I would look to Wapa di Ume as the source for the best education. Additionally, the grounds are like no other: full of surprises, immaculate, free of gimmicks, and layered beyond imagination! Kudos to the architects/builders!! The services like massage/tours/airport pick-ups were all top-notch!!!! And, the cuisine at their restaurant is beyond delicious, offering both beautiful representations of their local fare and some international options for those craving a taste back home. Additionally, if you are desiring a tour, an adjustment to your schedule, etc. they are readily eager to help!!!
This team at Wapa deserves to be on the stage for a gold medal!! Our only complaint is directed at ourselves: ‘why didnt we choose to stay longer’.
