Hotel NYX Cancun - Near La Isla Shopping Mall

This is our second stay at NYX first time we had a lagoon view. This time we upgraded and went with the ocean view room was awesome. As with the first time, the staff that work there make the place a great resort super friendly the entertainment at the pool magic bar even the waves in the ocean are awesome to body surf you take a walk on the beach one mile each way you come back to NYX and the place is hopping. They’re doing something right and the new restaurant was great. Food was perfect. Shout out to my friend Joel. Great seeing you again at the restaurant. if you’re looking at reviews, just go for it and stay at NYX. You will love the place. we are beach people so I give that a 10. again, thanks to all the staff for making it a great vacation again

Not very friendly lots of rules and regulations

Staff wasn't so easy to address. The food was too expensive, and not the best.

When we got there, we had no signal. They put us in a dirty room, and when we asked when the signal would be fixed, they didn’t give us an answer — they just said they didn’t know. We spent the whole night without signal, and they only came to change our room the next day after 3 PM. It was such a difficult experience, one I never want to go through again.

Old rooms, many noise and not space for work.

Not sure if it was a mistake on Expedia or the hotel, I thought I booked an all inclusive turned out it was breakfast only and neither did the hotel or Expedia tried to help resolve the issue. No one showed us around the property or told us where things were other than our room. Staff wasn’t helpful. The bathroom had a bad smell. Breakfast food was good and plenty of options. I wouldn’t recommend eating his hotel. Very poor customer service.

Way better experience than the first hotel we stopped by, the lady at checkin upgraded our room. Will definitely recommend.
