Would have been helpful if there was a ramp to the reception area instead of having to carry suitcases up the stairs.

We loved the location, the breakfast, the sauna and work out area. This is a very friendly hotel and we will definitely be back.

This hotel has attentive,courteous helpful staff. The location is wonderful, away from the crowded main street yet close enough to access both the cable car up the mountain and the train to Gornergrat vista points. They have a lovely garden that guests can relax in and a view of the Matterhorn from mdnh rooms. If you don't have a room with a view, just walk down the road towards the cable car and you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was delicious, with many varieties of Swiss cheeses and meats, fresh fruit, fresh seasonal vegetable crudites and muesli, yogurt, chocolate mousse and more. Quiet, cosy and inviting.

Our stay was wonderful. Staff were very friendly. The hotel had an amazing view of the Matterhorn. The grounds and outdoor patio were well maintained. I highly recommend!

This beautifully, well-maintained iconically Swiss hotel couldn’t have been better! From the warm greeting at reception, the stunning view of the Matterhorn, the pristine room and fabulous breakfast with fresh flowers on the tables, it was the BEST! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place!! Five stars!!!!
