Older building, no elevator. Clean room, fresh air, right price. We had a cruise the next morning, was a wonderful night stay and dinner was fantastic. Breakfast was top quality also. Chris

The Ennios was a unique place to stay & dine prior to boarding our cruise ship. Relatively close to the Southampton train station it was a 15 ride. There are only 10 rooms in the Ennios and one troublesome negative is one has to drag their bags up two flights (about 7 steps each) to reach the rooms. The room and bath were very nice & comfortable. Perhaps a slight drawback to travelers using larger bags (for extended trips) was where to put them in the room. The bathroom was spacious enough that we opened one bag in there and the other was on the floor in the bedroom. Excellent modern bathroom, bed very comfortable! Dinner at the Ennios restaurant was very good with a wide range of dishes. We were able to walk to our ship for embarkation (took 15 minutes w/our bags).

this is a small boutique hotel that doesn’t really have any amenities that I’m aware of. However, because the hotel is a straightforward boutique and Restaurant, the staff really shines, and they were wonderful. We booked several rooms for a wedding party and it worked out super well. I saw only one real downside to the hotel and that is the number of steps required to get around, so if you are older or emo, this hotel could be very difficult for you as there are no lifts. Beyond that cut I would stay again.

A very friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff - very kindly understanding of the circumstances surrounding our late arrival - so very much appreciated. And the kitchen - from breakfasts to dinner - left us both impressed, full and wishing we were able to stay longer - and eat more !

We have stayed at Ennio’s on numerous occasions; each and every time, we are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome (as I believe all guests get). Condition of property is excellent. To top it off there is a lovely restaurant, with a totally authentic Italian vibe- it can appear a little intimidating, but staff are great. Can’t recommend Ennio’s highly enough.
