Beach view was great! Staff were very friendly.

Chill, calm location. Great parking and easy to find. Views of the water. Easy home base to explore the area - including a day trip up to Cape Reinga.

Very spacious suite, good bed, wifi, tv. Responsive staff - a couple of maintenance issues were quickly solved. Kitchen is well equipped with even a dishwasher. View to pool gardens was nice. Appreciated that the bedroom had a door, giving extra protection from kiddie noises in the wide hallway. Too bright at night in the bedroom, but we solved that with the extra blanket tucked over the curtsin.

The place was quiet and comfortable but could do with a bit of upgrade. Staff very pleasant and efficient.

The property felt tired

Food was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, great sized room, clean and comfortable.

I have given a 4-star rating, but if there was a 4.5 it would have been that! Everything was really lovely, the view, the food, the bed was comfortable, the staff were excellent, it was clean.... But, there were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The biggest issue is that the light switch in the bathroom is faulty - doesn't stay on unless you wiggle the switch a bit. I'd say either the switch is loose or the wiring is a bit dodgy. Either way, that needs to be fixed. Other more minor issues are: The curtain was hanging off the curtain rail in the bedroom, the shower would not drain properly (we fixed that ourselves by pouring hot water down the drain, but clearly the drain needs a proper clean), the shower rose leaked (I think it's the wrong shower head on the hose), the heat pump/air conditioner did not work in the lounge, it didn't work when turning on at the machine, and there was no remote control. Overall a very enjoyable stay and these issues did not detract from our enjoyment, but they should be addressed.

Room was good with some additional welcome amenities Bed was too soft for our taste. Sofa wasn’t comfortable to sit on. Fantastic location next to a fabulous beach

Clean room, staff available all the time, had security guard open the gate past 1am which was much appreciated. Nice setting and surprisingly big rooms!
