Palm trees and sun loungers surround the outdoor magnesium pool. Guests can also relax in a quiet corner of the lush gardens. Tallow Beach Motel is 5 minutes' walk from the local pub, cafe and shops and is 3. 1 mi from the cafés and restaurants of central Byron Bay. There is a local bus service to and from the town center which stops in front of the motel. Local activities include surfing and fishing at Broken Head Nature Reserve, only a 10-minute walk away.
