Vessel Inn Namba was perfect for this. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Dotonbori, with restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, and transport links all on your doorstep. There’s even a convenience store right next to the hotel. Staff were friendly and pleasant, and a breakfast buffet is included. Rooms are small, and I did struggle a bit with a large suitcase, but this is common in Japan. Honestly, it didn’t bother me since I only needed a safe and convenient place to sleep and shower. The room and hotel premises were clean, and there’s a laundry room on the eighth floor — very handy if, like me, you’ve been travelling for a while and need to do some washing. Would recommend.
