I recently stayed at Modern Sultan Hotel in Istanbul, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The breakfast was excellent, with many options to choose from every morning, a great way to start the day.
The location is absolutely unbeatable. It’s incredibly walkable to all the major attractions, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, the ferry terminals, everything is close by. Even with a 4-year-old, we were able to walk comfortably to almost all the places we wanted to visit. The convenience of the location is truly one of the hotel’s biggest strengths.
One thing to note is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so you’ll need to use the stairs. We stayed on the 5th floor, so it was a bit tiring at times, but honestly not a deal breaker, the stay and location made up for it.
There are also multiple dine-in options nearby, making meals easy and enjoyable.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great breakfast, amazing walkable location, and a comfortable stay right in the heart of Istanbul.
