I had a wonderful experience staying at the Chisun Grand Takayama. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable visit, providing warm welcomes and helpful recommendations for exploring the local area. * **Prime Location:** It is incredibly convenient, located just a short walk from the station, making it an ideal base for sightseeing around Takayama's historic districts. * **Modern & Clean Rooms:** The accommodations are impeccably clean, well-designed, and offer great comfort after a long day of walking. * **Fantastic Amenities:** The facilities are well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels both relaxing and premium. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would absolutely stay here again!

Very clean, excellent location, friendly staff and great breakfast spread. The sound proofing was good. Stayed in a triple room which had huge beds and was very spacious in the corner.

Excellent location. Very close to the station and places to visit. Very clean and excellent service and attention. The only downsides are the uncomfortable beds and no laundry service. Otherwise, excellent.

Central location, easy to get to from train and bus station. Clean rooms, free coffee in the afternoon. Access to a common microwave. Spa bath and mist sauna was good.

Easy to find. Just a few minutes away. Come out of the station, walk ahead past the information centre, cross the road and walk straight ahead down the street. Walk past the 7 Bank and turn left. Hotel is on your right. We received such a warm welcome. We stayed 3 nights. The room was a reasonable size and we could put both cases open on the floor. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot and WiFi good. You can have breakfast downstairs for around AUD18. In the same room you can make complimentary tea and coffee during the day/evening. They also have a sauna and jacuzzi which was nice to use after a day of sightseeing. For those looking for a good coffee (almost Melbourne standard) and a smaller breakfast, turn left out of the hotel and immediate left again. Over on the right you will see Hids’ Cafe. We went both mornings. They open at 0630 so you can use even if you have an early train. To sum up, we loved this hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, position is great, walking distance from everything and it is good value. We would definitely stay again.
