Old charming character of a lodge. Please throw away plastic kettles. They shouldn’t be in any place. Stay away from PFA, PCA, BPA coated or infused kettles and change to a small non coated stainless steel kettle.

Good location, good size rooms

This hotel is not easily spotted from the street; however, once inside, I find the room clean, warm and cozy. There were plenty of parking and the made to order breakfast was excellent.

Great~~

Excellent hotel although the restaurant was closed which we weren’t expecting. The staff suggested a great place for food just a step away. So all good. Very good breakfast foo included in the room rate

The room was a great size and very clean. The bed was really comfortable. Great breakfast. All staff were helpful too.

Clean, quiet, walkable to restaurants

Room was spotless and all staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent place to stay when touring around the South Island

There is no air conditioning and the description says there is.

All round great place to relax spend the noght. Little extras of guest lounge and breakfast dining appreciated
