Staff was super helpful -- and gave us great hiking advice for the following day.

Lovely warm cabin with sufficient kitchen facilities. Good shower. Towels etc replaced as required. Recycling facilities. Shopping was v ltd but we had taken supplies as prewarned. Cabin a little dated but clean and warm with friendly owners. We hope that the motel can be continued with the same ethos.

The rooms are nice, the views all around are wonderful, location is convenient. But really the reason i gave it 5 stars is due to the proprietor. Fiona is generous, affable, helpful, and just generally lovely host.

Friendly informative host(Pete). Clean comfortable room with mountain views all around. Lots of snow stiil on mountains. Great walks & wildlife.
