This is a beautiful property perched on the ridge overlooking the sea. The staff were friendly. Unfortunately, during our stay, the main pool was closed and being resurfaced. The property therefore was not as advertised. I would think this warrants some kind of a discount. Moreover, the beach is beyond walking distance, and the shuttle only travels once per hour. Lastly, the restaurant had very mediocre food and was far inferior to any other meal we had during our stay in Bodrum. I hate leaving bad reviews because I know the hotel and their staff are trying. However, I chose this hotel because of its good reviews and think other others deserve to know this property’s shortcomings.

The hotel could use some maintenance. The sliding door wouldn’t lock until lubed. Peeling paint and varnished doors and shutters. Paint and varnish flakes that haven’t been swept up near these areas. Dinner was horrible. Awful service, food that was finally served was not per the menu. A wonderful breakfast buffet with cold eggs and no coffee. I wouldn’t return.

This property is a great value in an area that has high-end destination resorts. The staff was very helpful and was able to get us into our room immediately, even though we arrived early. Our room was spacious and clean. We appreciated the peaceful, quiet setting, and the view that overlooked the Aegean. The restaurant is located by the pool that also has a 180degree view of the sea as it sits on a hill side. Breakfast was included, and the food overall was good.We would book this hotel again.

The Doria is a great value in an area that runs with expensive destination properties. The staff were helpful in areas that were important to us. We arrived early and they were able to put us in our room immediately. A bellman carried our luggage to our room which was on a hillside with many steps. The restaurant was easy to find tables the entire time we were there and the food was good. Our room was spacious with a great view of the Aegean. And it was peaceful and quiet. We would book it again.

Lovely hotel, wish rooms came with an iron

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. Coming from a clean freak, this is a huge compliment. The bed was immaculate. Sheets, pillows. The towels were a bright white and fresh. The room was cleaned daily to perfection. Staff was very accommodating.

Very nice

We really enjoyed our stay at the Doria Hotel. Lovely, clean rooms with XL twin beds in the twin bed suite. Spacious suite. Great breakfast. We were a little disappointed to learn that the sauna and hamman were not warm, related to the system switching from heating to cooling as it gets warmer? We asked multiple questions and weren’t quite sure why they were not hot. We would have liked to be informed of that a bit more clearly in the booking. We would happily book again!

The room was spotless and the staff was great especially the Front Desk Manager Lokman was very helpful. We really enjoyed staying at Doria Hotel, Bodrum.
