The hotel and room were beautiful! We were surprised that a few of the staff at the desk were not welcoming or helpful. My sister asked the front desk for soft pillows after a sleepless night (the bed and pillows were very firm). She was told housekeeping would put them in our room. The next morning she asked again, and again no pillows. After our third night, she spoke to a manager. He was so nice and apologetic, the pillows were brought to the room within ten minutes. Also worth mentioning it is about a 10 minute walk down dark cobblestone streets to get to restaurants/bars. This was not an issue for us, but it could be for others.
