Our second time staying at the Gold Rush Inn. The rooms are clean and cosy. The only complaint us that our shower base was damaged making it unsteady underfoot.

Guest laundry not bad, staff very helpful, clean room, loved the electric blanket. A/C: stopped working spoke to manager who was very quick and seemed have fixed it. After an hour it stopped and went into a cycle of half hour on half hour off. This was annoying as it would rezero each time start up facing the bed so a big gush of wind. If it was not so cold I would have gone without, thus caused a poor nights sleep, not good.

Pros - One of the few places to stay with a private bathroom on Tasmania's West Coast - Right next to A10 highway Cons - Unfavorable price quality ratios - Amenities (bed, bathroom, air conditioning/heating) would benefit from more maintenance/upgrade - Poor noise and heat insulation

Rooms are very nice and clean. Parking is good right outside your door. Has a laundry room so no need to look for a laundromat. But most of all staff are very nice and very helpful. Great view from the front door.

The staff (I forgot to ask his name) on the night shift (16th May) was amazing. He gave us a pack of instant noodles and some bananas, as all the dinner places around the area were closed. Very kind and useful.

The room was spacious.and very well looked after, within walking distance to the centre. and a good restaurant was a bonus.

A great place to stay. Room and bathroom spacious, clean and well equipped. Lady who checked us in was very friendly.

Close to town. Very clean rooms.

Nicely undated and clean motel. very convenient parking. very quiet.
