We stayed at Ibis Styles for one night on our way to Toraja, and I loved the funky style of the hotel. We had initially booked a twin room, but upon arrival discovered that it was too small for our family of three. We easily upgraded to a suite, although it meant that one of us slept on a sofa bed (never fun, never comfortable). The hotel could use better soundproofing, but all in all, I would recommend it for a night’s stay—it’s clean, it’s close to some great seafood restaurants (RM Losari, for one), and the buffet breakfast, incorporating both Asian and Western food, was incredibly generous. But more coffee, please!
