Wonderful traditional Japanese room overlooking the lake. Unfortunately only had one night and was unable to try the traditional meal service. The hotel overall feels like a period piece from the 70s in a good way, and everything is very well maintained. The large onsen area (strictly no tattoos allowed) was great for winding down after a day of exploring. Would stay again.

The property is beautiful right on the lake. The entire staff were so gracious and helpful and friendly. We first visited this property 12 years ago during winter when it was surrounded by snow and a frozen lake. It was special for us to return during a different season to see all the beauty that surrounds this property year round.

Massive spa hotel right by the lake. It has a Chinese feel to it with big heavy seating in the lobby. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast served in a magnificent ballroom.

The hotel is on a lake, but there is no seating, walking paths, or other ways to access and enjoy the lake on site. The hotel is older and the wing where we stayed is in need of an upgrade. The hotel hosts hosted multiple large school groups during our stay. Fine for a night if your just looking for a place to stay.
