The Ha Long Sapphire Cruise was fantastic. The staff were lovely, the activities were fun, and we had a great time—special thanks to 'Sorry,' who kept us laughing!
However, just a couple of things to make others aware: communication before the cruise was poor. I had trouble getting answers about transfers, which led us to make alternative arrangements. On the day of the cruise, we didn’t know where the meeting point was. I should’ve reached out earlier, but they also should have sent check-in info the day before. After contacting them at 10:30 AM and having to ring them, I finally got the location, and we arrived with just a minute to spare, which wasn’t the best start.
We also booked two suites (only rooms left on our dates), but they were quite different. The large bath in the photos was only in one room, while the other had a smaller bath and window. When we asked, we were told the owner only photographed the best room, despite multiple complaints. Luckily, we had both rooms booked, so we could use the bath we preferred. But, If you’re booking a suite, make sure to confirm if you want the larger bath.
Other than that, the cruise was well-organized, the food was great, and the staff were wonderful. We highly recommend the 2-night cruise—the second day was an amazing experience, and we enjoyed every moment!
